Barisal Power Plant in Bangladesh is officially in commercial operation

On April 18, 2023, Barisal Coal-fired Power Plant invested by the company received the Commercial operation certificate (COD) by Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). The certificate clearly stated that the power plant officially entered commercial operation since 0:00 on January 1, 2023, marking the successful completion of the investment and construction task.

With the official commercial operation, Bangladesh's power and energy structure has been greatly improved. The contradiction between power supply and demand has also been greatly alleviated, bringing new development opportunities for local communities.
