The first batch of units of the Shelek Wind Farm Project in Kazakhstan were successfully connected to the grid for power generation

At 10 a.m. local time on June 30, the first batch of generator units of the Shelek Wind Farm Project successfully realized grid-connected power generation. It marks that the project has officially entered the final stage of achieving COD.

Shelek Wind Farm Project is jointly invested and developed by PowerChina Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd and PowerChina Resources Ltd. As the controlling shareholder, PCR will lead the operation and management after COD. The average annual on-grid power generation can reach 230 million kwh.
