The cumulative generating capacity of Port Qasim Project has exceeded 10 billion kWh

 On May 6, 2019, the 2 x 660 MW Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Plant in Pakistan generated more than 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, creating a new milestone for the project.

Since its commercial operation on April 25^thlast year, the project has accounted for about 10% of the total power supply of Pakistan's national grid. It has made positive contributions to alleviating the power shortage, optimizing the power structure, promoting local economic development and improving people's lives.
