Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Plant in Pakistan generate a record 8.7 billion KWh in 2019

 At 0 o 'clock on January 1, 2020, with the New Year's bell ringing, Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Plant in Pakistan sets a new record of annual generating capacity, 8.707 billion KWh. As of December 31, 2019, the plant has generated more than 16.5 billion KWH. In 2019, electricity on the national grid generated by the project accounts for 7.05% of the total amount of Pakistan, playing a positive role in alleviating power shortages, adjusting power energy structure, promoting economic and social development and improving people's livelihood in Pakistan.
