Nam Ou 1 hydro plant powers up first generation

 December 26, 2019, the first generator on the Nam Ou cascade, the Nam Ou 1 with an installed capacity of 45 megawatts(MW), commenced electricity generation on Thursday at the Nam Ou Hydropower Plants Operation and Maintenance Management Centre in LuangPrabang.. The ceremony was attended by relevant leaders of both side.
