Nam Ngum 5 Hydropower Project has generated over 3.2 billion KWH

By October 11, 2020, Nam Ngum 5 Hydropower station has operated safely and stably for 2,870 days. The project generated more than 180 million KWH annually, with an accumulative generating capacity of more than 3.2 billion KWH.

In cooperation with the operation&maitenance company, also combined with the requirements of reservoir water level absorption and power generation dispatching, Nam Ngum 5 Hydropower Project successively completed the annual C-class overhaul of two units and the emergency renovation of a set of UPS devices, which has done its best to control the five elements of "power, electricity, safety, efficiency and responsibility".
