Upper Marsyangdi project won the “certificate of honor” from Nepal-China chamber of commerce and industry

On November 10, at the annual general meeting of the Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nepal's Vice President Mr. Nanda Bahadur Pun presented the  " Certificate of honor " to the project Company in recognition of the project company's outstanding contribution to Nepal's hydropower industry through the successful development of Upper Marsyangdi A Hydropower Station.

Nepal is known as a "country of high mountains" and a key country along the “Belt and Road”. Upper Marsyangdi A Hydropower Station is also the first power project invested by PowerChina Group in Nepal. The project started construction in January 2013 and entered commercial operation on January 1, 2017. Withstood the test of earthquake, weak power grid, floods and mudslides and other natural disasters, the Station achieved early production and provided stable power generation. On November 7, 2022, the annual accumulated on-grid electricity of the Station reached 317 million KWH, reaching a high record for the same period.
